コレクターズはアイディアに富んだ高い音楽性を持ったバンドである。

また優れた演奏テクニックを持ったかっこいいライブバンドでもある。

彼らの音楽の根幹は「ブリティッシュ・ロック・マニア」の世界の体現である。彼らの曲はいたるところにフーやキンクス、ビートルズ、ジミ・ヘンドリックス、デビット・ボウイなどが顔を出す。

これはトライアル版のベストであるが、魅力ある曲が詰まっている。アイディアに富んだ分厚い音が続く。

マニアックさが災いしてかさしたるビッグヒットはない彼らだが、日本ロック史上には必ず名の残るバンドである。

是非聴いてもらいたい一枚です。
