当時、僕たちはグル-プサウンズに熱狂していました。
その中で今までの日本人では聴いたこともないような、素朴で透明感のある女性（デュエット）ハ-モニ-、衝撃的でした。それに影響されてその後の”シモンズ（知らないよね）”とか”あみん（今ソロの岡村孝子）”、等等が世に出てきたのですね。

中学生の頃，「白い色は恋人の色」が大ヒットしました。
それから３０年，このアルバムを購入したのは，当時深夜放送で
ながれていた「夏よお前は」という曲が（特に出だしのメロディー）
頭に中に住みつづけていてずっと忘れることができなかったので
した。聞いてみても，やっぱり名曲です。３０年ぶりの再会は

とても新鮮なものでした。そしてもう一つこのアルバムには，
「花のように」も入っていて，自分にとって忘れることのできない
名曲が３曲入っているのです。

彼女たちの懐かしい曲がまとまって聴けます。代表曲「白い色は恋人の色」は勿論、同じような曲想の「花のように」も素晴らしく、「あのすばらしい愛をもう一度」をふと思い出しました。ポピュラーやフォークも収録されていて、いずれも、このグループのコーラスの実力がよく出ています。最後の「花はどこへ行った」は淡々と歌われていますが、この曲のメッセージがよく伝わる名唱の一つです。
