5.0 out of 5 stars CMにだけ使うにはもったいない！まさに確信犯。, 2006/1/16
デビュー以前から、ミッキー・タケカワともに、CM依頼で食いつないでいたとかいないとか。ゴダイゴ結成以降は『自分達の音楽をばらまこう！」と息巻くミッキー。CM以外にも映画音楽の製作まで手掛ける、その早熟で確かな音楽性が、このアルバムをただの寄せ集めに終わらせない。オープニングのミラージュからは、ブラスシンセのファンファーレで幕を開け、「赤いシャポーの味の素」で、テクニカルかつポップに幕をとじる。各曲どれをとっても耳なじみが良いことが、コマーシャルソングをわきまえた彼等の職人気質と非凡さを確信させる。製作時期や時間・予算もあってか、音質は曲によりバラつくが、ストリング系シンセをレスリースピーカーで鳴らすなど、工夫もあり。まさにゴダイゴ旋風直前までの、ポップで秀作ぞろい。スプリンターリフトバック（トヨタ自動車：当時「太陽にほえろ！」で殿下がよく乗ってたなぁ）で聞ける、ベースライン。最高です。歌ってます、ベースが。レッドシャポーのファンクベース！カッコ良すぎます。ミラージュのテーマ：ボンボン歌いながら、ベース引きたくなります。スティーブに敬礼！もちろん演奏能力の高いメンバーですから、ミッキーのオルガンソロ、トミーのシャープなドラミング、ヘヴィーな浅野氏のプレイ＆逆回転ギター（サラダガールのスライドギターも結構ツボです）と相変わらず聞きどころ満載。今でも十分聞けるメロディー・演奏能力。２枚のオリジナルアルバムをしのぐセールスを記録することが、彼等のプライドを傷つけるのだが。・・・そして、時代は天竺へ・・・。（オリジナル音源を是非、デジタルリマスターして欲しい1枚である事を付け加えて）

ＣＭソング集というとどうしても当時見ていた人たちが懐古的な目的で聴くというイメージを
持つ人もいるでしょうが、基本的には新たにアルバム用に録音しなおしているのでゴダイゴの
小作品集としてＣＭを見た事が無い人でも楽しめると思います。
トミーがワイルドに全力疾走！まさに「ロック」してるドラミングと浅野孝巳のギンギンのギターソロが
楽しめる 「NOW YOUR DAYS」はアルバム中、というよりゴダイゴのアルバム全体の中で名演を
選ぶとするならばのかなり上位に入るんじゃないかな？
そしてタケカワユキヒデの全てが１分チョットの中に全て詰まっているといっても過言ではない
「WHAT DID YOU DO FOR TOMORROW」はファンの方なら聴いていて思わずニンマリすること請け合い。

今後この作品を再発する機会があるのならば是非ともＣＭで使われたオリジナルバージョンなんかも
ボーナストラックとして追加収録してくれたら嬉しいんだけどな。

今でこそ、ＣＭソングは認知されているがこの時代（７０年代初期）はあくまでコマーシャル。そんな中ＣＭアルバムを出していたこと自体すごいのだが、そのメロディーは２１世紀にもそのまま使えるのはもっとすごい。ゴダイゴというミステリアスな名前からは想像もつかない超ＰＯＰソングだ。聴いて思いっきり得するＣＤだ。
