李香蘭の日本コロムビアの復刻盤としては、ほかに3枚でほぼ全ての音源が揃う充実シリーズがあり、この「懐かしのメロディー」版はそのベストともいうべきもの。中国語「夜来香」、「七人の侍」「サヨンの娘」にかの「売糖歌」。1枚でいいや、という人はこのCD、いや全部欲しいよ、という人は以下の3枚を。

「李香蘭（山口淑子）　私の鶯」（「私の鶯」、中国語の「夜来香」、そして同じ映画「万世流芳」の劇中歌だが売糖歌よりもせつなく感動的な「戒糖歌」などを収録）
「李香蘭（山口淑子）　夜霧の馬車」（「浜辺の歌」「春鶯曲」「夜霧の馬車」「蘇州の夜」「宵待草」、本人が国歌のように愛唱した「荒城の月」などを収録）

「山口淑子（李香蘭）　夜来香」（日本語の「夜来香」、「東京夜曲」、「日君再来」、「七人の侍」、ライムライトのテーマに中国語詞をつけた名曲「心曲」などを収録）
の3枚もどうぞ。

母が好きで、その為に買いました。
非常に美しいお声で、声量が素晴らしくあり、名歌手だと思いました。
赤い睡蓮は、とても可憐です。
蘇州夜曲も、夜来香も、大変良い曲です。
私はふるさとの無い女には、考えさせられました。
一家に一枚、お薦め致します。

　やっぱり「夜来香」は戦前からの中國語で聴きたいものですネ。
もちろん終戦後の山口淑子になってからの日本語版「夜来香」も素敵なんですが．．．。
　　「蘇州夜曲」は渡辺ハマ子さんの方がイイといふ方々もあり、意見が別れるところではありますれど、私はやはり李香蘭ファン。こちらの方をオススメ致しまするぞ。

　「何日君再来」や「蘇州の夜」、「迎春歌」も、台湾の少女を歌った「サヨンの歌」も、みーんな魅力的でござ居ませう？
　　最近、唄を歌わなくなった彼女の往時の姿を想ひ出しつつ、ゆるりと楽しんで聞きませう程に。
