戦後ナツメロ番組で人気が出た藤山一郎の戦前期の佳曲集。戦前の彼は不遇にもあまりヒットに恵まれなかったが、古賀メロ特有の浪花節的な歌謡を正統派を持って歌いこなしている。現在から見れば珍唱で滑稽にしか見えない歌唱も、SP音源使用のため当時の空気を充分伝えてくれる。惜しい事に劣悪復刻であることが残念だ。内容は当時の彼のヒット曲を網羅しているといってよい。戦前歌謡を聞いてみたい方にお勧めの一枚。
