元はクラシックのピアニスト,城之内ミサのニュー・アルバム。アジアの女性演奏者による揚琴・古筝・中国琵琶・二胡に本人のピアノが加わって,東洋と西洋の溶け合った音をつくりあげた。


内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

作編曲家、指揮者、女優として主に映画、テレビ・ドラマで活躍する城之内ミサ。曲を書くとき、彼女は地球儀を回しながらイメージを生み出すことが多いという。そんな彼女がシルクロードの上に“草原ルート”(天山北路)があることに気付き、その悠久世界を音で描き出した。中国古筝の名手・姜小青、琵琶の邵容、二胡の劉鋒、揚琴の林敏ら才色兼備で知られる麗花アンサンブルをフィーチャーして、大陸的なメロディに乗ったヒーリング感たっぷりのアンサンブルを作り上げている。古都・西安の市場の賑わいや西域のオアシスの風景が目に浮かぶような音作り。一聴するとイメージだけで作っているかのようだが、実はこれ、中国民間音楽で使われる手法やら展開が随所に盛り込まれているのではないか。麗花アンサンブルの各ソロが自然な響きで聴こえるのも、そのあたりに秘密があると思われる。透明プラ・ケースのヒンジ部分にお香入り。ハヤリですもの。 (森田純一) --- 2000年04月号

通っていたメディカルエステサロンの店内でＢＧＭに使われていました。
すごく気に入って家でも聴きたくなり、スタッフのかたに訊ねて同じＣＤを購入しました。私は夜眠るときに聴いています。

中国楽器（ニ胡だと思います）の音色がとても心地いいです。
例えば、両腕を広げて黄河の上を飛んでいるような気分になれます。

ケースにはお香が入っていて、いい香りがします。

忙しい毎日に疲れている方におすすめです☆

東洋、というイメージで心の深いところでしっくりくる気がします。なぜか、手紙を書くときのＢＧＭとして良いです。ＣＤのケースも凝ってますよ。
