もう14年も前のＣＤですが
やはり、よいモノはよい！
それが結論です。
当時、友達のカーステレオで聴きまくってました。
まさか、こんな大スターになるとは・・・
当時は思いもしませんでした。
はたして、彼らの言う「マインドも進化する」は
本当に進化したでしょうか？
聴いてみれば、答えが分かるでしょう。
たぶん・・・？

初期のアルバムの中ではダントツに出来が良く、現在までにリリースされている作品の中でも５本指に入るほど、楽曲のクオリティーが高いです。サウンド的にはまだまだデジタルビートが基調となっていて、ここ１０年ほどのＢ’ｚサウンドしか知らない人には（稲葉のボーカルも含め）違和感を感じてしまうかもしれませんが、現在でもライブの定番曲である「OH!GIRL」やギターリフを前面に出した「Loving All Night」。バラードベストに収録されなかったのが不思議なほどの名曲「ROSY」。歌詞で泣かせる「Guitar Kids Rhapsody」など、聴き応えある名曲が目白押しです。「Safty Love」「夜にふられても」「OFF THE LOCK」以外の曲はすべて、後々何らかの形でリメイクされているのも興味深いです。

1stからわずか８ヶ月という短い期間でリリースされた2nd。
松本さん曰く「3rdまでで売れなかったら辞める」らしく、
気合が入っているのが良く分かる良作。

前作からの延長線の音楽性ではありますが、
TMネットワークを連想させるところはなくなり、
「B'zとしての音」が確立されてきた。

メロディはよりキャッチーに、ギターはよりソリッドに。

お二人の才能の開花を垣間見える良盤。
時代は感じるが、今聴いても素直に良いと感じる。
