この製作寸前、メンバーは「真夜中｣にあった。
ハイジャッカーにささげられた曲があるとおり、メンバーの一人がハイジャックされた飛行機に乗り合わせていたのだ。（念のため、無事帰還。「ただいま」という言葉が曲の中にあるように)
ここまでは説明すべきことでないのかもしれない。ただ、この事実によって、生と死の深い淵を彼らが覗いたことがよくわかる一枚である。
曲の中にも、重く血の出るような痛みを感じさせるものが多い。そして、ムーンライダーズという「人間たち｣にとっては、これはこの時しかできない作品であっただろう。創作者としていつも期待されている以上に人間であるムーンライダーズ、を感じさせる貴重な作品だ。しかも、同時にその作品で創作者として期待されているレベルを軽く超すのが彼らの凄さだ。

長年、RIDERSの自称ファンをやっていると、見事なまでに気持ち良く期待を裏切ってくれちゃってるアルバムに出会うことが何度かある。自分の予想範囲外の音作りに最初は目を白黒させるのだが、何度も聴いているうちにその時代背景（年代）に合致した有無を言わさない説得力のある作品であることを確信させられるのだ。

勝手なファンの独り言と断っておくが、このアルバムは「A.O.R.~Le Cafe de la Plage」で見失いかけてた（興味を失いかけてた）RIDERSの教えをはっきりとファンに再び標してくれたありがたい教典、いや名作である。
ただボーナスの「冷えたビール・・・・」が余計かな・・・やっぱし。

　今から１０年前、ＣＤショップで見つけたシングルＣＤ『HAPPY/BLUE95』が、ムーンライダーズとの出会いだった。何も知らずに購入し、聴いた瞬間、こんな重層的なポップな曲があるんだ！と。それから、何度、この曲をリピートして聴いたことか？それだけ、私にとって、想い出深い曲が収録されている貴重なアルバム。
　ブルーな気分を吹っ飛ばしたいあなたに、ぜひ、一度、聴いてもらいたい。
　「いつでもブルーじゃ　いけないって・・・」そう、口ずさみたくなりますよ。
