先頃レコード会社を移籍した彼がファンハウス在籍時に残したシングルB面曲集。フォーキーなシンガー・ソングライター的な印象を抱かれがちな人だが、サイケな音像に70年代ストーンズのテイストをちりばめた冒頭のインスト曲、スタンダード・ジャズ調の「ねぇ、運転手さん」、デジタル・ロック風「男よ それが正常だ!!」など、そのサウンドの引き出しは数多く、曲調もじつに多彩。いずれもアルバム未収録ながら粒の揃った佳曲の並んだ、彼の魅力を伝えるに十分な説得力を持った編集盤である。 (矢作計助) --- 2000年06月号

デビューシングル「僕の見たビートルズはＴＶの中」から「Hey! Mr.Angryman」迄、斉藤和義が出した
８cmシングル全ての「裏」を集めたコンピレーションアルバム。
中にはもう廃盤になっているＣＤのものも収録されており、新しいファンには垂涎モノのＣＤと言えるでしょう。
収録順もちょっとした流れがあって、正に「裏・斉藤和義」と言った感じ。

せっちゃんファンなら聴いて損は無し。

ベスト盤「Golden Delicious」は、一般受けが良い曲に寄っている反面、こちらのアルバムは”斉藤和義”の極端から極端までをチョイスしている感じです。振り幅が広いから聴いていてとても楽しいし、彼の音楽を知るにはベスト盤よりこちらのほうが適しているのではないかと思ったりします。

声もメロディーもすっごくいい！本人曰く『歌はオマケ』だそうだが何度聴いても飽きないのは生粋のボーカリストだからだと思います。『何もないテーブルに、誰かの声じゃ』は何度聴いてもジ~んとくる名曲。知る人ぞ知る人ではなく一人でも多くの人に聞いて欲しいので大・大・大推薦します！
