1989年から2年程活動休止し、1991年に復帰した横山輝一。
1993年「LOVIN' YOU」の大ヒットにより、
その後はプロデューサー、コンポーザーとして楽曲提供も行い、活動の幅を広げています。
その輝一氏の休業前の活動をまとめた2枚組ベスト盤がこれ。
聴き所はライブ音源を集めた2枚目のほう！
現在もライブでコール＆レスポンスしている掛け声“生（ライブ）が最高”の通り、生き生きとした輝一氏を感じられます。

いろいろなアーティストに曲を提供し、最近カバーアルバムをリリースしていましたが、その彼の初期ひと区切りのアルバムです。懐かしさに引っぱりだして聴いていましたが、全然古い感じなんかしません。伸びやかなvocal、適度なhiphopさが心地良く、live盤も、彼のステージの雰囲気がとても良く伝わってくると思います。このレビューを見た方！オススメですよ！輝一、関西でもliveやってね。
