~冒頭の「UNSTEADY~~ LOVE」は、カッコいいというのはおかしな表現かもしれませんが聴いていてノリが良く、米光美保のバックコーラスも聴けて最高！。凍結中の角松さんがプロデュースした中で彼女のアルバムが最もお気に入り。歌声も澄んでいて気持ちよく聴けて、角松さんのコーラス、作曲、編曲も秀逸。ところで、中森明菜バージョンも良いですよ。それは、角松さんと同じキーで歌~~っているからだけでなく、かれの最も躍動的であった時代1985年であるということ。つまり『GOLD DIGGER』~『T'S BALLAD』の頃で角松さんが歌わずとも彼の香り漂う作品だと一度聴くと良く分かります。バックは当時の角松バンドと国分友里恵さん他2名の女性コーラスで締めています。彼女に提供したもう一曲の「SO~~ LONG」も入れて欲しかったと思うのは、ANRIさんへ提供した1983年の「YES I'M IN LOVE」「GOOD-NIGHT FOR YOU」1984年の「I CAN'T EVER CHANGE LOVE FOR ME」に近い要素をもった美しいバラードだからです。彼女のアルバムも角松さんが全面プロデュースしていたら…。欲を言えば、ANRIさんに提供した珠玉の作品をもっと入れて欲しかったです。たとえ2枚組でも…。~

~正直、期待はずれであった。とてもじゃないが、最初はまだいいが、だんだんとモチベーションが下がってしまう。オリジナルを越えるのは至難の業で、ほとんど皆無である。例外もありうるが…。

２はオケをトランスポーズさせて、微妙な手直をしてそれを使い回した感じが否めない。

４は杏里の「悲しみが止まらない」の作詞、作曲家が新たに書いた作品を~~敢えて歌っているが、この作家陣は、もはや感性が枯渇しており一抹の寂しさを感じる。

６は強引な転調（理論上間違っていないのだが、あまりにも不自然）でいただけない。

名曲の３、１０はアレンジが…。

本人の多重コーラスは諄い！。主旋律が分からなくなるようなコーラスアレンジはナンセンス。もう少し、過去に戻っておさらいしたほうがいい。~~いや、本当に。目立とう精神も程々に…。角松本人の歌うキーを上げて、主旋律の上は米光美保にコーラスをもっと委ねていたら良かったであろうに。

音楽である以上、メロディー、それに付随するコードワーク、アレンジワークがダサイといくら素晴らしい歌詞でも心に伝わらない。あくまでも、私的な意見であるが、他に目をつむって歌詞だけに陶酔できたら越~~したことは無いのだが…。~

なんという感傷的な作品！
単に「女性に提供した曲をカバーしたもの」というだけでない、角松さんの女性に対する「観」が感じられ、女性の私としてはこの上なく「酔える」アルバムです。
角松さんファンの方は、とかく小難しい音楽論を持ち出しがちのような気がするのですが、駄作だなんだと言う前に、角松さんがどのような気持ちを持ってこの作品をつくっているのかを考えてほしい。
女性に対しての敬愛の念をもって作られた作品だと思う。ほぼすべての曲を、オリジナルのものを聴きましたが、私には角松さんが歌うほうがフェティッシュに聞こえ、「いいなぁ」と思います。音楽は心で感じるもののハズ。頭で「考える」のではなく、静かに耳を傾けて聴いてほしい。
すべての曲がとにかく「いい」ので、絶対に薦めます。
