近藤房之助とのﾃﾞｭｵでｱﾆﾒ「ちびまる子ちゃん」の主題歌を歌って
話題を集めたのももう随分前になってしまった。
もともとﾌﾞﾙｰｽ/ﾛｯｸを歌わせたら日本でも指折りの女性SINGERだが
その彼女が愛唱曲をLIVEで聴かせる知られざる一枚。
こういう曲目を見てピンと来る人と来ない人の差がCD漁りでは大きい。
近藤房之助の名作LIVE盤「HEART OF STONE」と並び称されて良い出来。
PPP（ﾌﾟﾚｲﾔｰｽﾞﾎﾟｰﾙﾎﾟｼﾞｼｮﾝ）というｽﾀｼﾞｵﾐｭｰｼﾞｼｬﾝらのﾕﾆｯﾄでも
Vocalをとっていたが、その1枚目所収の「WOMAN　FROM　THE　MOON」
という作品は私的な愛聴曲となっている。（後にﾐﾆｱﾙﾊﾞﾑにも所収）
表舞台でどうこう言われる人ではないが、ﾒｼﾞｬｰでなくても
素晴らしいﾐｭｰｼﾞｼｬﾝが日本にもたくさんいることは広く認識されて
良いのではないだろうか？
