このアルバムは最後の曲、HUMAN GATEの為に造られているとみてもいいかと思えます。通して全て聴いて頂ければ明確になることと思います。
この曲は、メロディーはともかく、その歌詞に注目してみた場合明らかに、PIEEROTのスタイル、もしくは本アルバムの性質的な観点からして、異質であることが理解できる筈です。
まぁ、そういったうんぬん抜きにしても、純粋に素晴らしい楽曲です。彼らが以前出演していたラジオでの話によれば、どこかの中学教師が、卒業文集にて生徒達にこの曲の歌詞を引用して送辞を寄せたと言うのですから驚きです。

アルバムタイトルのまんま、歌詞カードや帯もきれいなセルロイド仕様です。現メンバーのフルアルバム「パンドラの厘」に続く2作目。

1曲目「セルロイド」で~この先踏み込んでいく超人の領域へ~の静かなる怒涛に始まり、おなじみ「Adolf」「脳内モルヒネ」で加速し、「Twelve」「鬼と桜」でヒートアップ手前の異様な落ち着きを見せ、圧倒されている所に「HUMAN GATE」で意表を衝かれます。この曲だけは他のものと全くイメージが違うのですが、ラスト曲として選んだ理由を安易に考えると裏切られます。

全体的には暗いです。そこに「HUMAN GATE」というイメージとしては明るい感じの曲を持ってきた事に意図を感じます。
