16の時でしたねー、確か。
なるほどザ・ワールドでNo End Summerがエンディングとして使われていて、買ってみたのが大当たり。
洋楽カブレだった当時に「Tokyo Tower」は驚きでした。
後継のリミックス12インチや、「Girl in the Box」も最高でした。
ライブに行きゃー、自分より年上のオネエさまばかり。
20年経った今でも、新鮮そのものです。

1985年発表の５thアルバムにして初期の最高傑作でしょう。
夏の海辺から"After 5 Clash"で東京の都心に移動した角松が、このアルバムで一気にＮＹＣまでぶっ飛んでしまった、という感じです。
20年前の作品とは思えない新しさは、その卓越したアレンジの為せる業。
TOKYO TOWER、MERMAID PRINCESS、NO END SUMMER　という超名曲を収録！
個人的には MELODY FOR YOU に思い入れがありまして、昔の彼女を思い出しで涙ぐんじゃうんですよね（笑）

GOLD　DIGGERのスラング＝結婚詐欺師と、いうことで、当時発売されておりました。ヒップポップ、ラップ、スクラッチ（ターンテーブル）と、今では珍しくもなんともない手法をいち早く取り入れた、角松敏生のエポックメーキング的なアルバムです。発売されてから20年経過しても色あせない、今でも充分に通用するアルバムです。私自体何万回このアルバムを聞いたであろう。
またウィットに富んだ洒落っ気を忘れない歌詞。まさに最後のNO END　SUMMERの歌詞のよう、
♪全てがうつりゆく中でかわらぬもの見つけたなら、

そんなアルバムです。
