まだ大学生だった頃のアルバムで、モチーフにも「素敵な英語の先生」が出、てきたり、「仲良しのクラスメート」を歌ったと思われる曲があったりします。きらきらとまぶしいキャンパスライフが蘇ってくるような、そんな懐かしさを感じさせるアルバムです。

不思議なピーチパイで、ザ・ベストテンに出ていた頃からのファンです。VARIETY以降の、達郎色に染まる前の最高傑作だと思います。日常生活（の延長）をしっとりと歌い上げるVARIETY以降の作風とは違い、旅紀行的な曲あり、昔の思い出などをしっとりと歌い上げている曲があったりバラエティに富んだ作りとなってます。派手さが無いので、決してメガヒットはしないでしょうけれど、メロディーラインと楽曲をとても大切にされたつくりなので、長く聴いても飽きがこないと思います。私自身、81年のリリース時（小学生でした）からの愛聴盤であり、今でもIPODに入れて聴いております。長く付き合える一枚ですよ！

LP時代の帯にはそう書かれていました。
今もって最もよく聴いた部類に入る1枚で、間奏のﾌﾚｰｽﾞまでありありと
耳元で甦るくらいです。
ﾂｲｽﾄの松ちゃんのｷﾞﾀｰ、ﾃﾞｭｴｯﾄの伊藤銀次の好ｻﾎﾟｰﾄ、RCA三人娘のｺｰﾗｽ
等々、この作品に賭ける熱意みたいなものが伝わってきます。

ｱﾝ･ﾙｲｽに捧げた「ﾘﾝﾀﾞ」はもとより、どの曲も良く出来ているので、
もしも最近のまりやさんのCDしか知らない方は是非共、ご一聴をお薦め
致します。
ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑﾀｲﾄﾙをずっと「ｾﾙﾌﾎﾟｰﾄﾚｲﾄ」だと勘違いしていた小生ですが、
内容的には太鼓判ものです。
