多くのトリビュート作品は、演奏者の個性が前面に押し出されて原曲のファンを納得させられるような完成度にはならない。殊にパープルのようなレベルのバンドのトリビュートにはその傾向が顕著である。

しかし、この作品には原曲へのリスペクトが強く感じられ、原曲の忠実なコピーを心がけた素晴らしい作品である。といっても、メンバーを見ればわかるように個々の技術は日本でも最高峰のメンバーであり、決して単なる物真似ではなく、時には原曲を上回るような素晴らしい演奏が聴ける一枚である。
是非、パープルファンにこそ聞いて欲しい作品である。

文句なしに最高のカバー盤。演奏についてはこれ以上何を言いようもないバカテクぶり。メンバーのキャリアを考えれば当然ですが。ヴォーカルは森川之雄の独壇場、「Speed King」「Child In Time」「Fireball」と美味しいところ総取りか、と思ったらラストに宮永英一の「Highway Star」という伏兵が(笑)　一曲一曲、聴きすすめていくのがこんなに楽しかったアルバムは久しぶりでした。大満足。

これだけ実力者が揃えば、良くないわけありません。はっきりいってすごいです。Deep Purpleの名曲の数々がジャパニーズヘビーメタルアーティスト達によって見事に再現されております。それにしても森川の歌唱力には驚かされました。驚愕です。買ってソンはありません。オススメの一枚です。トリビュート盤の中では「虹伝説」とともに双璧をなす一枚でしょう。
