   前作のインストアルバム『LEGACY OF YOU』に続く約1年ぶりの作品。ヴォーカルアルバムとしては『Reasons For Thousand Lovers』以来、約1年10か月ぶりのアルバムとなる。
   LAセクション、TOKYO セクションに分けて行われたレコーディングで、サウンドは近年の作品に見られたコンピュータープログラミングを廃し、フォーリズムを中心にしたシンプルかつポップなものに仕上がった。彼の数多いアルバムのなかでも自信作といえるアルバムだ。(池端まゆ）

ひさかたぶりのシティ・ポップ路線の復活だが,この男にかぎって言えば形を変えながらも常に意識してきた70年代の日本のロックへの憧憬が,ようようたくましさをつけてきた,と解釈したい。クレジットに相変わらず居並ぶ女の名前にはまいるけど…。

個人的には角松作品のベストです。
捨て曲無し。夜のドライブに最適！

あこがれのAORや山下達郎さんの曲を吸収し角松流に表現するとこうなるって感じで聞いていて飽きない作品です。
音も濃く、ヘッドホンでじっくり聞くもよし、御自慢のスピーカーを鳴らすもよし。

『DISTANCE』はシンデレラ・フライトとでもいうか山下さんのあの曲の対抗ともいえる名曲！

『UP TOWN GIRL』のコミカルな歌詞も角松さんらしい。

失恋という言葉では済まされないけど、愛する人との決別を経験した人なら、詩の意味がきっとわかると思います。心が深い闇の淵にあるとき、負のエネルギーがこのアルバムを完成させたのかもしれません。すばらしいバックミュージシャンで彩られたすばらしい楽曲があなたを待っています。凍結前の最高傑作です。

私の拙いレビューではとてもこのアルバムを語ることは出来ない。
何度聴いても引き込まれる至上の傑作。
このアルバムを境に、角松は凍結への道へと進んで行ってしまう。
身を切る様な辛さと重さ。
しかし私はこのアルバムに何度も救われた。
これから角松を聴く方には、最初には聴いて欲しくない。
しかし絶対に聴いて欲しい角松の最高傑作であることに間違いない。
