　前作よりもテクニックが前面に出ている作りだが、何せ角松の曲ですから、どの曲もリゾート感覚にトリップできる金太郎飴状態！！　一歩間違うとスポーツ番組や釣り番組に使われそうな突き抜ける曲調何だけどそれもご愛嬌。　絶対に１曲は自分の思い出の時間にオーバーラップできる曲があるはず。そんな素敵な思い出とともにずっときき続けられる１枚になるでしょう・・・・
　そうです　海です、ドライブです、角松サウンドと共にいつまでも

打ち込みパーカッション、16分音符のHi Hatの装飾過多が起因しておりある程度必要な空間（音の隙間）がほとんど皆無であり『SEA IS A LADY』と比較してしまうと、どうしても心地良さが薄れてしまう。もうひとつは異様に曲が長過ぎる点です。これは、『1981~1987』でも完全リメイクバージョン、および本人だけの多重コーラスのしつこさなども出てしまっており、オリジナルテイクをそのまま入れてもらった方が良かったと思えてしまうところがあります。この『LEGACY OF YOU』でも、元JADOES、現在は＜ダンス☆マン＞として活躍中でファルセットも巧みな藤沢秀樹さん、国分友里恵さんなどの様々な声色を携えたボーカリストをバックコーラスに迎えていれば、結果論ですがもっと良い仕上がりになっていたことでしょう。「Parasail」「SATO」は個人的にはおすすめです。

夏になると、取り出してしまうアルバムの代表格で、SHEISALADYに続く角松敏生のインストアルバムです。各曲のサブタイトルに女性の名前がついているのも前作同様です。

サウンドを一言で言うと、COMFORTABLE。とにかく聴いていて気持ちいいアルバムです。もちろん、角松敏生のアルバムですから、曲良し、アレンジ良し、演奏は一流ミュージシャンというてんこもりの内容になっています。
目覚めの時、ビーチで海や沈む夕陽を眺めながら、お酒を飲みながら、等々

色々な場面でこのＣＤがかかっていれば、あなたの時間をより快適に過すことができるのではないでしょうか。
