このアルバムにいったい何度お世話になったことか･･･。夜のお供に酒のつまみにどんな気分の時であろうと心を癒してくれる極上の精神安定剤。この中の「パーフェクト｣が全英で4週連続第一位に当時輝いたそうだが、こういう何のギミックもない本当に楽曲の良さだけで勝負するアーティストが今、本当に少なくなってしまったなあ･･･と思う。結局これ一枚で解散してしまったけれど、エディのソロでもここまでの完成度の高さ、ナチュラルなたたずまいは未だだせていないのではないか？

カスタマーレビューを見て購入しました。朝起きてハッピーな気分で一日を始めたいときや、夜空を見ながら物思いにふけるときなど、いろんな場面で盛り上がってたり寄り添ってくれるアルバムはそうなかなかありません。とは言いつつｆ＾＾；最初ボーカルの女性の声があまり好きになれなくて、ん~・・。。と思ってました。しかし聞いてるうちに、押しすぎず引きすぎない彼女の声の中に、うまく言えないのですが心を揺さぶってハッとくる強い何かがあって不覚にも（？）泣いてしまいました。どの曲もいいけれど、「風が知ってる私の名前」と「ハレルヤ」が私は特に好きです。e-yagamoさんの「世の中に、このＣＤを買って後悔する人が果たしているのか？」後悔する人は絶対いないことでしょう☆

　多分これまで聴いた全ての曲の中で、最も好きな曲の一つである「Perfect」を含む、彼らのデビュー作品。「Perfect」以外にも、skiffleと呼ばれるアコースティックな響きが好きな人にはたまらない良い曲ばかりが収録されています。しかし、このバンドは、デビュー後程なくして解散してしまい、この作品はデビューアルバムであると同時に、彼らの最後の輝きにもなってしまいました。魅力的な音楽は、BGMとして流すだけで部屋の空気を変えてくれます。この作品は、まさにそんな不思議な力と魅力を備えた作品だと思います。
