これから購入しようとする方に言わせて頂ければ、「ネオロカの名盤」を１枚くらい聴いても「ネオロカ」の良さは分かりません。ネオロカバンドも数多くいるが、アルバム全体でかっこいいものは極マレ！ヒット曲が1曲だけ、なんてバンドだっている。それを求めて初めて分かるものです。この作品は個人的には全曲好きな1枚ですが、それにはこのバンドの当時の状況、時代背景などを含めた・・・まぁ、80年代が好きな訳です。今のサイコビリーから入った若者だったら首をかしげるかも知れないが、いつかその良さが分かる日も来るハズ・・・！？それでもタイトル曲を聴いてもピンと来ないアナタにネオロカは足を踏み入れるジャンルではないかもしれません。そしてこれだけを聴いて「ネオロカって・・・」などと軽軽しく語ってもなりません。

ネオロカ入門のCDで、これからロカビリーを聞こうとする人にはお勧めです。ストレイ・キャッツとはまた違うニューウェーヴな音に驚くほど！！
その他にはPOLECATSやshakinpiramids等ネオロカは５０'Sのオーセンティックなノリと一緒にすることはできない！！
最近PUNKもなぁ、mixもなぁあきてきたなぁ・・・ってなったらまずRockaBillyを聞いてみては？

本場アメリカで不発だったけれど、日本のクラブイベントで大人気だったロカッツです。スネークマン・ショーのネタでも有名な彼らのアルバムです。Ｒ＆Ｂのカバー、コルバート・ハミルトンのカバーありのおもしろいアルバムです。”Ｍａｋｅ　Ｔｈａｔ　Ｍｏｖｅ”は名曲だよ~。
