　鈴木重子さんの３枚目のアルバムです。この頃から、歌声が変わったような気がします。何か深くて心を暖かく包みこんでくれるようなオーラが強くなったような気がします。
　このアルバムの中でColors of the windを歌っておられますが、この曲は後のアルバムJust beside youでセルフカバーされています。歌い方、アレンジの違いが楽しめます。
あと、私は、What a wonderful worldを聴いたとき、涙がこぼれてきました。是非聴いて見てくださいね。

歌のうまいジャズ・ヴォーカリストは沢山おられますが、声からその人の体温の温かみが感じられるヴォーカルはめったに聞くことができません。
鈴木重子さんの３枚目のアルバム『ウインズ・オブ・マイ・ハート』の全編に漂う「癒し」を伴う穏やかさは、他の歌い手のヴォーカルとは一線を画しています。

1曲目のボサ・ノヴァの名曲「波」が良かったですね。ハスキーがかった彼女の声質の個性が、人を虜にする魔力のような「癒し」をもたらしてくれます。どこまでも穏やかで、聞き手を包みこむような雰囲気あるヴォーカルは素晴らしいの一言です。

「カラー・オブ・ザ・ウィンド」がまた良かったですね。西洋と東洋の融合といいますか、不思議な音楽世界を歌っています。このような曲をもっともっと歌って欲しいですね。

「いそしぎ」、「誰かが待っている~虹の彼方に」、「慕情」というスタンダードナンバーも彼女の個性で彩られていました。

10曲目の「この素晴らしき世界」を今は亡きルイ・アームストロングに聞いてもらいたいほどの素晴らしさでした。拍手！拍手！
