幻想即興曲は有名なフォンタナ版ではなく、ルービンシュタインが発見した版によるオリジナルの演奏が聴ける｡
フォンタナ版に少々食傷気味の方には､新鮮に思われるだろう。

いずれの演奏も､気品高く､正統派のショパンを表現している｡音質も充分であるし､価格的にもお手頃である。

初めてショパンの即興曲ＣＤを手にしようとお考えの方に最適です。

ルービンシュタインの演奏は健全で気品があり、かつ正統な解釈がなされてあるので、良い意味で「基準軸」になり得ると思います。このＣＤを出発点として、アシュケナージ、ペライア、ホロビッツ、コルトー等と、幅を広げてはいかがでしょうか？

特にお子様に聴かせようとお考えであれば、良い選択になると思います。お薦めです。

ピアノの美しさはもちろんですが、裏表紙の写真がとっても印象的でした！
晩年のしわしわのルービンシュタインがにこっと目を細めて笑っているのですが、なんだかとっても素敵な笑顔で写真に見入ってしまいました・・・。
私が知ってるお顔の中で一番しわしわで一番素敵な笑顔でした。
