最近ではすっかり表舞台で見る機会がなくなってしまったモニカの記念すべきデビューアルバムです。１４歳でデビュー、アルバムのレコーディングの時はおそらく１３歳位でありながらこの歌唱力と表現力。もうすごいとしか言えません。２，３，７、曲目などのようなアップテンポな曲も好きですが、個人的には９，１３、特に１４曲目などのようなスローな曲がもう最高です！アルバムを聴き終わって改めてその当時の年齢を考えると本当に驚きです。
アルバムが出てもう１０年以上経ちますが、今聞いても全然良いしこれからもずっと楽しめるアルバムです。

留学時代に友人のDJより紹介されたアルバムがこれ。
14歳とは思えない声量とリズム感。
ダラスオースティンがPUSHするわけです。

とくにお勧めなのが#11　before you walk out of my life。
いつ聞いても新鮮で、私のbest5には入る名曲です。
