皆さんも仰ってますが、史上最高のガンダムアニメです。

少年の目からみた戦争やそれに携わる人達。
親しい人との分かれ　少年の成長。

非常に美しく、悲しく、リアルに描かれています。

「ガンダム」という枠にとらわれず、今までガンダムシリーズを見た事が無い人も楽しめる作品です。

しかし、初代ガンダムを見てある程度の時間軸を頭に残し見ていると更に楽しめます。

とにかく、自分の言葉で語るのは失礼な位、非常に良く出来たアニメです。

自分はこの作品を発売当初にVHSでレンタルして見て以来、忘れられない作品となりました。

これは一連の「ガンダムシリーズ」の作品とは全くの別物として観てください。

主人公の少年は「戦争」をまるでアニメの様なものとして「楽しんで」います。
誰にも責める事は出来ません。
平和な町に暮らし、TVのニュースなどからしか見たことの無い「戦争」。
無邪気な少年にとって、それはとてもエキサイティングに見えることでしょう。自分にも覚えがあります。

しかしその「戦争」は、ある日突然彼の目の前にやって来ました。
それでも彼にとっては「待ち望んだ一大事」でしかなかったのです。
そして彼は「無邪気さ」が招いた拭い去ることの出来ない「罪」を背負う事になります。

自分はこの作品を今の子供たちに見せてあげたい「生きた教科書」としてこれから先も残して行きたいと思います。

自分にももうすぐ3歳になる2人の息子がいますが、彼らがもう少し大きくなったら見せてあげます。

大人の皆さんにも改めて「戦争」を考える意味で激しく薦めます。

ヒーローは出てこない、悪者も出てこない、
戦争に振り回される子供や大人たち。

大人は殺し合い、子供は大人になっていく。

ガンダムを知らなくても問題なく、変な言い回しも無くとても良いと言っている。
