小山茉美さんのノリが最高！
ストーリーも今見ても結構真面目で良いです。
価値はあります。

海モモがお好きな方にはすみません。
私の中ではミンキーモモといえばこちらになります。原作は「みさきのあ」さんの絵コンテがベースになったそうです。
絵は渡辺浩さんの可愛いタッチです。

スタジオぴえろとは全く違った魔法少女ものです。「チックル」、「ララベル」、「サリーちゃん」、「アッコちゃん」世代アニメの雰囲気を一新した新しい魔法少女作品の先駆けです。
また、今こそ抜かれましたが当時「ピピルマ・ピピルマ・プリリンパ...」この魔法の呪文は最長でした。

この作品は最初の４０数話は現実世界、そして魔法を失ったモモは不幸な道をたどります。
後半２０数話はフェナリナーサに地球に人間として生まれ変わったモモの涙が結晶化した宝石の記憶から構成され、どんどんモモの周りの人々が悲しみの中に...　前半とは全く違った雰囲気もあります。
またコスチュームと魔法のステッキが微妙に変化したりもしています。

最終回、フェナリナーサが地球に戻ってくるというシーンがあり、そこで起用されている曲も雰囲気も最高でした。
もうこの作品が出来て２１年、時代の流れは早いですね！

大きなテーマをひとつ。
それに沿って基本的には1話完結のエピソードを積み上げてシリーズを構成するという比較的オーソドックスなスタイルの作品です。

20年以上経った今でも評価の高い作品で、小さな子供からヤングアダルトまでそれぞれの年代で視点を変えて見られる奥行きもあります。

概ね「ノーテンキ」な雰囲気で構成されていますが、所々にテーマの重さが顔をのぞかせ、どういう結末を用意しているのか興味を抱かせてくれます。

決して大掛かりな道具立てを使うことなく、大上段に振りかぶることも無く「人の心の問題」を扱えた、バランス感覚のよい作品です。
