   カナダのプリンス・エドワード島。グリーンゲイブルズと呼ばれる土地に住むマシュウとマリラ兄妹のもとにある日やってきたのは、赤い髪とそばかすの小さな少女、アン・シャーリー。孤児院から男の子を引き取ったつもりが、手違いで女の子が来てしまったのだ。一度はアンを孤児院に返そうと思ったマリラだが、やがて考え直し、アンはグリーンゲイブルズに住めることに…。女の子なら誰でも知っている、ルーシー・モード・モンゴメリーの原作を高畑勲監督でアニメ化。宮崎駿、近藤喜文ら、後のスタジオジブリ作品の担い手達がこぞってスタッフとしてクレジットされている、1979年放送の「世界名作劇場」である。
   空想好きで、よく笑い、泣き、怒るアンは、「名作」シリーズ中もっとも感情の起伏が激しい主人公。そんなアンが、マシュウの包み込むような愛、マリラの厳しい親心、さらに「心の友」ダイアナとの交流などを通して成長していく様子がみずみずしくつづられる。グリーンゲイブルズをはじめとしたアヴォンリーの村の田園風景は美しく、そしてその中でアンが繰り広げる想像の描写もアニメならではの鮮やかさと大胆さに満ちている。オープニング映像も出色の出来ばえだ。
   素晴らしい原作と、日本アニメ界屈指の才能の幸福な出会い。「赤毛のアン」は、「世界名作劇場」シリーズが到達した、間違いなく最高傑作のひとつだと言える。（安川正吾）

アンの不登校時代のお話です。
「ダイアナをお茶に招く」で大親友のダイアナとの仲を裂かれ、そして「アン、ミニー・メイを救う」でアンの過去の辛い経験が役立ちダイアナとの仲を親に認めて貰うです。
若い時の苦労は買ってでもしろとよく言われますが、それを物語として上手に表現した話だと思います。
やはり、”名作劇場”というだけの事はあります。

陰険な先生フィリップスからのお仕置きで、以前嫌がれせを受けたギルバート(男の子)と隣の席にさせられたアン。
それを屈辱として登校拒否になり学校を休み始めたアン。
それを心配し、また親友が学校に来なくなって寂しがるアンの親友ダイアナ･･･。
そんな事件盛りだくさんの回が収められています。

このギルバートとの確執はかなり後まで引きずるので、ぜひともこの回を見ていただきたい！
私としては「そんなことで・・・」と思うけれど、頑固なアンにとっては一大事でこのあとも相当物語のキーポイントになるのでご覧下さい！

現在、かなりムカツク教師(悪くいえば先公)はごまんといますが、アンの担任のフィリップ先生もかなりムカツク教師です。陰険なフィリップ先生にキレたアンのとった行動とは…。
原作を読まれた人なら知っているかもしれませんが、未だ知らない人は教えてしまうと楽しみがなくなってしまうで書きません。
知りたい人は原作を読むかアニメを見るなりしてください。
因みにくだらないことを書きますが、もし僕がアンの原作者だったらフィリップの先公をダイアナと共に後で殴るよう書きます(爆笑)。
