発売当時、タ○ーレコードの試聴コーナーで、たまたま聴いてみて、カッチョイイ~！これだよコレ！！と、迷わずそのままレジに持っていたものだけど、未だに愛聴してる。

ギタートーンといいスティービーレイヴォーンと比較されがちだけど、なんというかハイパースティーヴィーレイヴォン（笑）なんだな、これが。
チョ~ット違うんですね、レイヴォーンとは。
ブルースという枠だけで収まらない人。
実際、ライブでは、Jマクラフリンやコルトレーンなども演奏するクロスオーバーな音楽性の持ち主。

この１ｓｔは、ほんとに会心の一枚。ジャッキンジャッキンとテキサス仕込みのカッティングが気持ちイイ。
ブルージーかつファンキーテイストなギターだけど、全体のノリは圧倒的にロックで、一気に最後まで聴けてしまう。
トリオのパワーブルースが聴きたい方。普通のブルースロックだけでは物足りない方。絶対、オススメですよ！！

う~ん、かっこいい！
16歳でデビューしたクリス・デュアーテの１STアルバム。
レイヴォーンを踏襲した、スタンダードなブルーズロックが前編に並ぶ。

個人的にお勧めは1曲目のMy　Way　Down。これ1曲で星5つである。わずか16歳の少年が演奏しているとは思えないほどの、ギターの切れとボーカルの渋さ。もう何年も前の曲にはなるが、今聴いてもかっこいい。個人的には、数あるブルーズロックの曲の中でも、ベスト１０には入る曲だ。

後の曲もブルーズロック好きには良いのだが、彼ではなくても他のミュージシャンでも聴けそうな曲だ。もちろん出来はいいのだが…。

レイヴォーンはもちろんのこと、Jonny　LangやKenny　Wayne　Shapardを好きな人にはぜひ聞いてもらいたい1枚！
