再評価というには現役すぎるケド、最近のクールな路線を突き進む彼女をみて“やっぱ安室って、いいよね〜ぇ”“だよね〜ぇ↑↑”という動きがあると思う。
けれどもやっぱ。そんな中にあって、この頃の安室ちゃんもいい曲多いよね。と思う。
私事ですが、ちょうど音楽に興味をもちはじめた小学生時代に、 一連のBody Feels Exit → Chase the Chance → Don't wanna cry → You're my sunshine → そして、名盤アルバム、Sweet19Bluesという連続猛攻撃とでも言うべき時代にどんぴしゃにハマってしまい、自分とは切り離せない音楽になってます。
売れっ子街道ばく進しかけのタイミングで、どうしようもなく勢いづいていて、途方もなくエネルギーが溢れて溢れて止まらねぇぇ！！！といったムード。夢というテーマとともに、これだけの勢いを感じていると、chanceをchaseするために今突き進まないでどーすんのよ！という気分になります。ちなみに。歌手にずっと憧れていた青田典子お気に入りのナンバーでも有ります。話はそれましたが、実際当時の彼女もこれから先しばらく留まるコトを知らない勢いで突っ走り、数々の夢を叶えていくコトになります。まさに、有言実行。カッコイイってこういうコトよ♪っていうのを体現してくれた、数少ないアイドル。すてき。楽曲的にもキャッチャーで踊れる！あくまでポップスだけど、当時としてはかなり画期的で革新的なコトをやってくれていて、TK Magiqueとしか評価しようもないね。
とくにラップは、ダサカッコ良くて笑えて、でも何故だかクールでひた向きな印象もある。
とにかく、今のQueen of Hip‐Popな彼女でもなく、スーパーモンキーズの彼女でもなく
当時の彼女だからこそ音楽化できた、勢いがつまった１曲です♪

今から１１年前、小室サウンドがはやっていた頃の安室奈美恵ちゃんのシングル。１９９５年〜１９９７年くらいまでの彼女は名曲が多く、この頃のイメージが強いです。
今の安室ちゃんにはどうもついていけませんが、この頃はノリのいいダンスミュージックでキャッチーな曲ばかり歌っていて、なじみやすいです。　　　　　
リアルタイムでこの曲は知りませんでした（当時小学１年生でしたから）が、「速報！歌の大辞テン！」という番組で当時のトップ１０が放送され、この曲と出会い、「かっこよくて覚えやすいメロディーだな」という印象を受けました。
今年２９歳になり、ママでもある安室ちゃん。この先どんな曲を出していくのか注目してみたいと思います。
