ディズニー映画「リトル・マーメイド」で使われた曲が全て聴けます。名曲「パート・オブ・ユア・ワールド」も2種類入ってます。　同じく日本語版も発売されていますが、やはりオリジナルにこだわる方はこちらの方が満足度が高いのでは....？　街のＣＤ屋さんではほとんど手に入りませんので（私は10件以上まわりました！！）、希少価値も高いと思います。

映画を見て、これ聴いて、
ディズニーシーのマーメイドラグーンに行って、
そこで買ったマーメイドラグーン・ミュージックアルバムを聴いて、
映画を見て・・・の繰り返しの毎日。

リトル・マーメイドって、女の子に人気なディズニー映画として
必ず１位２位にランキングされる作品ですよね。
そんな映画の世界が、そのままＣＤになってます。

１曲目から聴いて目を閉じると、
そこにはあの海とイルカと船のオープニングが・・・！笑
もちろん、リトル・マーメイドをあまり知らない方でも、
サントラとして、このＣＤの音楽に満足できることは保障できます。

絶対英語版の方がお勧めです。オリジナルは勝つ！

メンケン＆アシュマンのコンビがディズニーに参加し、それまで少々下降気味だったディズニー映画を復活させた作品です。
わたしがディズニー映画にはまったのは、リトル・マーメイドがあったからです。
パート・オブ・ユア・ワールドは、歌い手の歌唱力に左右されるとても難しい曲ですが、映画の演出と相まってすばらしい楽曲になっています。
最近のディズニーはまた曲と映画が離れ気味になっていて、ちょっと痛い部分もあるのですが、リトル・マーメイドは映画と歌のバランスが非常に良い作品です。
それでいてサントラだけでもじゅうぶんに楽しめます。

リトル・マーメイド公開当時、どのくらいディズニー映画が落ち込んでいたかといえば、確か日比谷で単館上映だったはずです。
この映画から火がついて、美女と野獣へ移行してゆきます。
