最近聴いたシングル曲の中でいちばんおもしろかったのが、m.c.A・Tが書いた西城秀樹の新曲で、もろDA PUMPという感じだった(これがすごくいい出来で)。しかし、このマキシ・シングルを聴くと、DA PUMPはまた違うステージへと移行したような感じがする。表面的にはいつもと変わらない弾けたグルーヴを放つ曲たちではあるのだが、メロディやコード進行の感じが違っている。静かに深化している感じ。しかし、DA PUMP一組だけで、これだけ隆盛を誇っているジャニーズの弱みがはっきり見えてくるのがおもしろい。 (楡崎明生) --- 2000年06月号

この頃のダパンプって、発展途上な所が否めない…って感じだったけど、
やっぱりこの曲はいい！！
ISSAも新曲を出すたびにうまくなってるし、何より歌詞がいい。
そして、ラップもいい感じ。
実はこの曲、知名度が・・・って感じだけど、聞きまくれば聞きまくるほどに
味が出て良い。
