伝説のglobe4大ドームツアーの東京ドーム公演の模様を収めた内容です。
時代が時代、場所が場所、内容が内容、そしてglobe…すごくないワケがない。

まず、セットの規模が尋常じゃありません。
どでかいモニターが無造作にいくつも並び、その前でパフォーマンスを繰り広げるglobeの3人。
モニターには、様々なイメージが次々に現れ、光の演出で会場を大いに盛り上げています。
レーザービームなどの照明装置も、これでもかというほどふんだんに配置されており、
とてつもなくドハデなライブとなっています。


ハデなのは、セットや効果だけではない。
何より、globeのメンバーがとても活き活きと始めから終わりまでハジけているんです。


ケイコの歌声は非常によく出ています。
しょっぱなから「FACES PLACES」なんていう超難曲を歌っていますが、とても気持ちよさそうに
高らかに歌っているのが印象的でした。
「Feel Like dance」では、感極まるあまり、泣き声になってもまだ力強く歌いつづける姿も
とても素晴らしかったです。


マークはあいかわらずの茶目っけで、ステージを縦横無尽に少年のようにかけまわり、
ラップで音楽をしっかり引き締めてくれています。
力強くラップを語る男らしさと、少年のように踊る姿のギャップは、やはり何度見てもあきません。
globeには珍しいロックナンバー、「Becase I love the night」では、ベースも披露しています。


そして、そんな二人よりもさらにハジけていたのが今回のＴＫ。
このツアーでのＴＫのパフォーマンスは、圧倒的のひとことです。
まず、弾いている楽器が非常に豪華。
ノードリード、JD-800、DX-7、KX-5など、ＴＫファンなら
おなじみの豪華な愛器たちが顔を連ねて登場します。
さらには、ブルースハープ、グランドピアノ、ハモンドオルガンなどでも
ドハデなパフォーマンスを見せてくれます。


特に圧巻だったのが、中盤のＴＫのピアノソロ。
きらびやかでＴＫらしい豪華な音のするグランドピアノを、まるで少年のように自由に弾くＴＫ。
あわただしいリズム、流れるようなリズム、緩急織り交ぜ自在に弾き出すＴＫ。
リストやショパンを彷彿とさせる、恐ろしく早い指使いも難なくこなしていることには圧巻です。
その途中では、トルコ行進曲やミッキーマウスマーチなどもいたずらのように織り交ぜ、
とても不思議で愉快で感動的ななピアノソロが流れていきます。
そして、その後にＴＫが引き始めたのは…なんと「WOW WAR TONIGHT」（！）
豪華な音色のピアノで奏でられるその美しい旋律に、会場は割れんばかりの賞賛の歓声に包まれていきます。
しかしそれでオワリではない！なんとその直後に弾き始めたのは、「CAN YOU CELEBRATE?」（！！！）
非常に高らかに壮大にＴＫが即興でアレンジをし、その力強い指づかいで流麗に弾きこなす様に、
会場のボルテージは最高潮になり、最大級の歓声が鳴り止みません。
とても感動的で、すばらしいパフォーマンスを見せてくれたＴＫに、心から感謝をしたいです。

それを差し引いても、ＴＫのキーボードプレイは本当に圧巻のひとこと。
キーボードに対するＴＫの情熱が爆発したような、ドハデな演奏を見ることができます。


ケイコ、マーク、ＴＫ、3人とも最高のパフォーマンスを見せてくれる最高のアーティストたちです。
そんな彼らが集ったユニット「globe」
彼らの魅力がぎっしり詰め込まれて破裂しそうなほどの内容の今作。
音楽でこれほど熱くさせてくれる彼らは、本当にすごいです。

ものすごいエンターテイメント性の高いライブで、特に“Feel Like dance”でのKEIKOさんの涙にすごく感動しました。“Anytime Smokin'cigarette”ではKEIKOさんが煙草を途中で吸いだすという、パフォーマンスもありの、とても内容の濃いライブです。

実際に東京ドーム公演をステージから20mくらい離れたアリーナVlP席で観覧しました。コンピューターグラフィックスをはじめとした、多岐にわたる豪華な演出には驚嘆、興奮、絶賛。映像では、その臨場感は伝わりづらいが、絶頂期のglobeの雄姿が見られます。 ド派手な演出という点で、後にも先にもこのツアーを超えるライヴはなかったと思います。いつになく、はじけているTKも、印象的。星が4つなのは、生の臨場感が伝わらないという意味です。致し方ありませんが…。正直、ファン必見です。
