デビューの時点でいきなりハードR&Rの根幹にあるノリと気合いの本質を射抜いてみせた前作から2年、LAのライヴ・ハウス・アクトから全米シーン表舞台に飛び込んだ暴れん坊の2作目の登場だ。飾りを取っ払った硬い音のテイストには成熟も退行もなく、今回もその剛直なサウンドはよく叫びよくドライヴしている。あえて言えば楽曲の緩急の落差が前作よりも大きく広がり、バラードも交えつつ作品全体にスリリングでダイナミックな展開を作り出している点に、さまざまな場面でライヴの場数を踏んだ成果が感じられる。5人編成も板に就いた。しかしいざダッシュをかける際の勢いはアピール度倍増、部分的に退廃の香りが漂っていた前作よりもむしろ若々しいエネルギーがダイレクトに前面に押し出されている感があるぐらい。ハードR&Rにおける“美しき野獣”という定番コンセプトを、賢しらなアート感覚とは無縁の部分で見事に実現した作品だ。 (平野和祥) --- 2001年04月号

　残念ながら全作ほどのめり込むことはできなかったが、流石というべき曲の良さです。
デビュー以来、このバンドの虜になってしまいました。
しかしこのバンドのバラードがここまで良い仕上がりになるとは驚きです。

前作のインパクトがあまりに強かったにも拘らず、このセカンドアルバムには、またしても打ちのめされてしまった。パワフルなドラミングに絡むツインギターとジョシュアの絶叫ヴォーカルのハーモニーは完全にハマっている。前作にはなかったパンクナンバーも魅力だし、なによりバラードの質が格段にレベルアップしている。もはや敵なし！

これぞロックンロール！！ストレートな王道ロックの中にある爆発力はすさまじい！ハードでありメロディアスでもある。HM/HRを初めて聴く人にもオススメします。必ずハマルこととなるでしょう。Yogiが加わり、KeithとYogiのギターの音が分厚く交差し、より強調されたサウンドを作り出している。何よりもパワフルでエッジの効いたギターが印象的である。また、Joshuaのパワフルで伸びのあるボーカルにも脱帽せざるを得ない。バラードもうまく歌いこなしている。2作目にして最高傑作であると思う。今後の作品にも是非期待したい！ 必聴！！
