ポーキュパイン・トゥリーの第三作目。　１９９５年にリリースされたものです。　非常に完成度の高いアルバムだと思います。　バンド・ユニットとしてのまとまりも感じられます。　おそらく、今も活動を続けている3人のメンバーが初めて本格的に取り組んだ作品だと思いますが、すでに、このバンドの音楽性がこの時期に完成してしまった気にもさせられます。　確かにＰｉｎｋ　Ｆｌｏｙｄの『Ｔｈｅ　Ｄａｒｋ　Ｓｉｄｅ　ｏｆ　ｔｈｅ　Ｍｏｏｎ』の幻影を引きずっているようにも思えますが、それも反面致し方のない事かも知れません。『Ｔｈｅ　Ｄａｒｋ・・・』を超えようとする事自体、無意味な事かも知れませんからね。

しかしながら、このバンドのサイケな面、サンプリングの妙、そしてドラマ性などは、このバンドの特有な部分かと思われますし、それが生きたアルバムだと思います。　この頃、『Ｖｏｙａｇｅ　３４』の企画を経ての録音かと思われますので、そのマニアックな趣向性がいい意味反映されたのかも知れません。

このアルバムはプログレファンはもちろんの事、幅広く音楽ファンに聴いて頂きたいアルバムに仕上がっていると思います。
