Album Details

In the year 2000 Wounded Bird issued their first batch of Herbie Mann CD re-issues. One of those was London Underground which featured Mick Taylor and Albert Lee. It was recorded in London as a sequel to his biggest hit 'Memphis Underground', This prompted a second album of London recordings entitled Reggae. Reggae also features Taylor and Lee. The highlight of this album is a 17 minute version of 'My Girl'. Standard jewel case. 2001 release.

　このＣＤは、１９７４年録音の物です。当時のバ-ビ-マンの音楽は、ジャズとはかけ離れた、ラテン調やディスコ風の音楽を多く録音しています。
　このアルバムも其の中のひとつです。当時はボブ・マリ-などのレゲイの音楽が流行っていた時代です。私は、ＬＰの溝をすり減らし、使用不可能になるまで聴いていました。とにかく音楽に乗りやすく、ウキウキしてくるアルバムです。
