5.0 out of 5 stars トロピカルなムードと東洋と異国の音楽の出会いが最高, 2003/10/20
私はこのＣＤは持っていませんが、アルバムで聴いていました。一番のお気に入りは『熱帯夜』。暑い夜、うぶ毛がそよぐのを感じさせられながら外に出た時、思わず「アスファルトも溶け」る東京の夜の一節を思い出してしまいます。

他では『三時の子守唄』。正月番組に創られたのは聴いていませんが、細野さんの繊細なやさしさが顕れている曲だと思います。インストの曲がついてるのもうれしい。
そして『ハリケーン・ドロシー』。 '37の映画　"HURRICANE"　をイメージして創られ、ドロシーは主演の　Dorothy Lamour 。DVD でも出てる（amazonによる)らしいのでご覧になったら感想を。ただ、このアルバムの最後にカモメが鳴く渚でささやく声、クレア・フランシスというのが映画からなのか、このアルバムのための声なのか、まだわからない。この声を聴かせるだけでも、ちょっと話題。

初めて聴いたのは15年くらい前。曲が流れ出した時に感じた、脳ミソが踊り出すような感覚は忘れられません。最後までずーーーっっと笑いっぱなしで聴き倒し、すぐ仲良しの子んちへ持って走って「すごいよぉ！」って聴かせました。

多才すぎて、色々やっちゃって、一般にはあまりメジャーな印象の無い
ハリー細野氏ですが、紛れも無い国内最高レベルのアーティスト。
ＹＭＯ夜明け前のこの時期が、彼の独特の歌声・メロディー・リズム等が
最高のフュージョン状態にあるような気がします。

日本で最も最初に、いわゆる日本のロックの壁を越え得た彼。

英語の使い方も、日本語歌詞の曲への乗せ方も、現在のアーティストを
遥に凌いでいる（と思う）。

大人の為のアーティストっていう感じ。若い人にも是非一聴をお薦めします♪
