「ナビィの恋」はご覧になりましたか?それぞれのキャラクターも、あの風景も、すべてステキな映画でしたが、とりわけ「音楽」の存在感はすごかった!!役者がそのまま沖縄音楽の有名どころでもあったりして、ウウム…まいりましたという感じでしょうか。収録曲にある「ロンドンデリー」はなんの違和感なく沖縄の音楽に溶け込んでしまい、「ハバネラ」も青い海がよく似合う。この映画を見ていない人には、そんな不思議な音楽の融合が楽しめる1枚です。（DVDでぜひ映像を見ていただきたいものですけれど。ぜひ!!）

映画「ナビィの恋」のサントラ盤。
映画は、沖縄を舞台にした、老人たちが秘めていた恋の物語だ。
べつにミュージカルというわけでもないんだけど、音楽シーンがとても多くて、なにかというと、すぐ唄いだし、ついでに踊りだす、という映画なので、普通のサントラ版とは、一味も二味もちがう。
沖縄では、音楽が生活シーンに溶けこんでいるようだ。

三線という、不思議な楽器や、沖縄民謡をこのアルバムではじめて聴いた。
とても、おおらかで、ふっきれた音と声。
よく聴いてみると、時々エッチな歌詞もまじっている。
でも、そんなにスケベだとは感じない。

海へ行って、風に吹かれて、酒を飲んで、こんな音楽を聴いていたら、他には、何もいらなくなってしまうんじゃないか、と思えるような心地よいアルバムだ。

一度レンタルでナビィの恋を観て、おもしろい！と思い改めてDVDを購入しましたが、毎日最初から最後まで観るのはさすがにムリ。でもあの音楽を常に身近に置いておきたい･･･ということでサントラも購入してしまいました。

実は私はタモリ同様ミュージカルが嫌い。映画の話の途中にいきなり音楽が挿入されるのは脈絡もなさすぎ、テンションも違いすぎであまりついていけないのですが、このナビィに限っては例外。音楽が自然に何の不思議もなく話の流れに調和して出てきます。しかも音楽がないとこの映画は成り立たないといえるほど一曲一曲に存在感がある。

あまりにも映画が気に入ってロケ地の粟国島まで行ってしまったのですが、今はこのサントラを聴くたびに粟国島のことを思い出します。いいです。
