２０００年の夏、あまりの暑さにプールに行きました。プールサイドで休んでいるときに流れてきたのが、この「HOTEL PACIFIC」でした。そのときに初めて聞いたのになんだかとても心に響く感じだったのです。だからすぐに買いました。この曲はもう、前奏からサビまですごく親しみやすいかんじなので、めちゃｘ２おすすめです！

　最高です。何度聞いてもとにかくあきさせない、ま~サザンの曲は、どれもあきさせませんがその中でもこの曲は、最高傑作でしょう。
　夏＝サザンというのをわからせてくれるノリノリのナンバーです。
　何度もいいますが最高です。

この歌、ホントいいですよ。ちょっと古めかしい感じのするサウンドがまた心に響くんです。
いかにも茅ヶ崎を意識した地元の歌で、情景が思い浮かびます。

なんで、桑田の歌はこう聞いていて心地よいのでしょうね。
