歌唱力とセンスがあるのは認めるが、このようなカバーを出すには若すぎた感がある。天性の声を持っているのだから、じっくりと時間をかけて成長をして欲しい。英語の発音も気になる箇所がある。アレンジャーの手腕は発揮されているが、ストリングスが薄く貧相な響きになっており残念だ。フルートは上手い。

超スタンダードばかり！かなり彼女の声を聴くことをフィーチャーした作品ですね。というのも、このスタンダードのカバーって上手さしか求められないから、高難易度の試みなわけですよね。そこにはまた、スタンダードだからこそ持つ曲の味わい深さも求められ、それを表現しないといけない。

しかし、彼女の歌唱力には一般的な先入観「上手い」だけじゃない、歌を「奏でる心」がちゃんとあるから、感情は技術を裏づけにし、非常に心地よく自由に歌っています。だから、この音たちは小柳ゆきの音楽の効用を最大値で発揮していると思いますね。「Without You」は期待度に対し120％の結果で応えてくれています。
おまけに英語の発音が完璧で洋楽女性シンガーといわれても、そうだろうなと思います。母音の音が太くていいですね！（日本人が歌うといつも母音が弱いから音が鳴らせない例が多いんです）

「WHO'S CRYING NOW」は彼女にぴったり。一方「CRY ME A RIVER」「MANDY」なんて、高音の小柳だと思われてる世間へいい裏切り方をしています。

彼女の才能は、言うまでもなく、世間で認められている。このアルバムを聞いていると、日本人が歌っている事を忘れてしまう。「明日に架ける橋」絶品です。アレンジもＧＯＯＤだし、女性ボーカルではこうなるかと関心させられます。原曲は、僕のイメージだと少し暗いのですが、彼女のバージョンでは非常に力強い。又、ボーナストラックには「Ｉ　ＤＯＮ’Ｔ　ＷＡＮＮＡ　ＢＥ　ＣＲＡＺＹ」もありお得です。
