自身最高の売り上げ記録を持つこのアルバム。
それだけ世間が彼女の魅力や才能に注目していたんだろう。

その期待に押し潰される事なく、あくまでも純粋に曲作りをしてアルバムを作り上げた感が好感触。
わざとらしくないのに、どれもこれも心に残る曲ばかり。
なんといっても彼女にしか作り出せないあの世界観が、このアルバムにはとめどなく散りばめられている。
彼女の持つセンスそのものが、惜しむことなく詰め込まれている。

独特の歌いまわしとメロディライン。
あくまでもaikoのヴォーカルが主体となったバンドサウンド。
ガールズ・ロックの新境地ともいえるし、ポップスとしての完成度も高い。
そして何より、歌詞の世界。女の子が感じる恋の切なさ、もどかしさ、楽しさ、すべてが盛り込まれてる。

彼女の歌声には、王道じゃない魅力がある。
世間一般的には歌が上手い部類には入らないのかもしれないけど、ビブラートを使わないあの伸びのあるヴォーカルが、他の人にマネできるだろうか。
絶妙な半音の世界で、寸分の狂いもないリズム感。
この絶対の歌唱力も、彼女の魅力やセンスのひとつだと思う。

これまでに数多くのアルバムを発表しているけれど、一番“aikoらしいaiko”を感じられるアルバムなんじゃないかな。
このアルバムだけはリアルタイムで買って聴いてたって人も多いだろうし、初めてaikoを聴く人にもオススメ。
まさに、「これがaikoだ！」って胸を張って言える一枚。
ポップス史上に残る最高傑作だと思います。名盤。

これまで（2003年1月現在まで）にメジャーアルバムは3枚出しているけれど、一番aikoらしさを感じられるのはやっぱりこれじゃないかな。元気が良く、それでいて繊細な哀切感もたっぷり。聴けば聴くほどaikoの素晴らしさが味わえるアルバムだと思う。彼女独特のフレーズやノリの良さも天才的。
これはちょっと他のアーティストには真似出来ないよ！

aikoとは女性の恋心を表現するのが非常にうまいのです。
そのせつなさや嬉しさ、悲しさを見事なメロディーで歌い上げます。
このアルバムですが、aikoが一躍有名になった曲が入っています。
｢花火｣｢カブトムシ｣「桜の時｣などと思いますがかなりいいです。
aikoが｢これでもか！｣というほど感情移入していてかなり共感できる作品です。
