素晴らしいと思いました。サントラら映画で時間を あけずに活動していたとはいえオリジナルアルバムは 5年ぶりですよね。彼女の作品では常に言えること だと思いますが、すでに受け入れられている流行りの音を作ろうとしていないというか、今のシーンにまったく こびない姿勢が感じられるところがかっこいいと思います。彼女は自分で曲を作ることはないけれどプロデューサー使いはマドンナの手腕にも負けてないと思います。 聞けば聞くほど味がでるという感じ。見た目でいえば 最近はバギーパンツ姿が少なくなったかわりにタイトなファッションが大人っぽくてセクシー。同年代の女性シンガーと違ってこれみよがしじゃない露出も好感が持てます。

５年ぶりのアルバム。事故死によりラストアルバムになってしまった。ただ、これはマジでかっちょいい。音・ビートが斬新で、はやりのビートの一歩も二歩も先を行っている。No.１になった（１５）は言うまでもなく、アルバム先行シングル（１）も病みつきになる。（２）（４）（７）（１３）あたりのアップも変態的なビートが絡み合ってむちゃくちゃクールだし、（３）でのメロウ感もすごくいい。バラードもAaliyah独特のウィスパーボイスがもの凄く味わい深く響く。（６）もいいメロだし、（１０）も素晴らしい。このアルバムに関しては何も言うことない。これがAaliyahのラストアルバムだと思うと切なさがこみあげる。

このＣＤを何年待ったか!　「ロミオ・マスト・ダイ」で、とってもキュートな役を演じていたあのアリーヤの実質上の最後のアルバムとなってしまった・・・。これからどうなるのかと、心底楽しみにしていたのに・・・。悔やまれてなりません。このＣＤを聴いていただければお解かりいただけると思いますが。天才女性Ｒ＆Ｂシンガーとしての才能が遺憾なく発揮され、この歳でありながら、落ち着いた雰囲気と、ゆとりをも感じさせることのできる作品となっている。グラミー賞にノミネートされた「try again」に負けるとも劣らない楽曲ぞろい。また、歌もすばらしい。 　推しの一枚です。　アリーヤ、ありがとう。
