　このＣＤは1997年に放送されたアニメ「時空転抄ナスカ」のサウンドトラックです。

　このＣＤでは、元「Ｇ・ｃｌｅｆ」の斉藤恒芳さんや、ヴァイオリニストの葉加瀬太郎さん、そして東京藝術大学声楽科の卒業生のデュオであるエキセントリック・オペラと言った、豪華キャストでクラシック音楽を基調とした荘重な音楽を中心に成り立っていて、音楽として聴いてみると、決して「駄作」とは言えない物です。

　しかし、音楽関係でこれほど派手に予算を注ぎ込んでしまった事が、却ってアニメ本体の台本や作画にしわ寄せが来てしまい、「音楽・キャストは一流、台本・作画三流」のアニメとなってしまい、アニメファンからは「駄作」の烙印を押される結果となってしまったのは、非常に残念な事です。それほど!までに日本のアニメ界は予算をケチる事しか眼中に無いのかとこのＣＤを聴いて、日本のアニメ界の現状を嘆いてしまいました。

　アニメとしての成功や失敗を重視する視点からは、このサントラのＣＤの功罪が問われるのは無理もない事ですが、もしも他のアニメーターがもっと台本や作画をしっかりした形で再編成し、その上でこのサントラをそのまま再利用してリメイク版を作ってもらえる事を期待しているのは私だけでしょうか？

単刀直入な感想ですが、オペラとクラシックの融合・協奏ともなんとも言葉では表現し難いほど斬新な曲でしたので、思わず胸が踊る気持ちになりましたね。インカ文明などの古代音楽を意識させられる曲調・リズムでしたので、壮大なスケール感のある歴史を印象させられるイメージを受け取り感じました。

こんな表現の仕方がある曲を始めて体験・経験しましたので本当に気に入りましたね。ナスカを聴き、私の音楽ライフに新風を与え、感じさせてくれたことにとても感謝していますね。数少ないオペラとクラシックの斬新なハーモニーを実感できる絶品だと私は思い・自負し、そして是非ともお勧めしたい作品ですね。
