YMOのデビューアルバムから聴いている私はこのテクノデリックを発売当時（レコード）に聴いたときかなりの衝撃を受けた。当時シンセが作り出す音にすら驚いたのに、YMOの3人はその音作りでは物足りなかったのか、サンプリングまでやりだした。そのサンプリングを駆使して出来たのが本アルバムである。凝りに凝ったサンプリングには驚く。癒し音楽ではなく、今となっては無味乾燥にも聴こえるが、本アルバムで教授が作曲した曲は癒し系のオリジンとも思える。機械的な音でも、美しい調べなのである。今でも好きなアルバムであり、CDまで買ってしまった。

彼らの初期から曲を聴いていれば、このＣＤが到達点だと感じる人が多いと思います。
いきなりこのＣＤから聴くと、よく分からないと言う人もいるだろうが、サンプリング等を
用いた技術うんぬんよりも、うまく説明できないが境地といったところでしょうか。
ＣＵＥ等のメジャー曲もあるが、コンセプトアルバムとして聴いてみてもらいたいＣＤだし
ここまでクオリティの高いＣＤは滅多に出来ない典型的な例だと思います。
