かなり個性的なRemixerが参加した作品です。
Coil(元Throbbing Gristle,元Psychic TVのP･Christophersonが結成した異端的なTechno系Unit。
日本ではアルバムが入手困難だが、海の向こうではRimixerとしては有名だそうです。)や
そしてJ.G.ThirlwellとはIndustrial Musicの最初期から活動する、FOETUSです。
他はTrentさんやVrennaさんがSelf Remixしたりしてますが、どれも基本的には狂ってます。

オリジナルがNINの作品の中でかなりストレートな作風なので、これだけ歪ませてるところが
逆にRemixer陣のやる気を感じます。
確かにRock&POPSが好きな人には気に入ってもらえない作風です。
それと決して“踊れるRemix”でも無いですし、再構築された音を聴いて愉しむ作品だと思います。
Remixはどれもかなり長いですけど、バラエティに富んでいて強烈なものばかりです。
Voを徹底的に加工したり、リズムから全く別物になってたり、ノイズを絡めてダークな作風になってたりします。
私は1.2.3.がかなり好きでよく聴いてます。

「broken」も良いけど、私個人的には「fixed」の方が好きです。「wish」の曲の展開や「gave up」は本当にダンスミュージックです（ちょっと激しいかも）。トレントの声って不思議な感じで機械音の中でも溶け込んでいく感じが堪らないのでリミックス・アルバムは本当にカッコいいです！

BROKENはもちろん、こっちもかなりカッコイイ！
Gave Upのあまりの変わりように度肝を抜かれた。
Coilの参加はTrentのNothingレーベル所属のため？（となるとFOETUSも契約したPIG繋がり？）
何気にノイバウテンも所属してたっぽい。
後はHappiness In Slavelyがかなりイイ。

ＮＩＮお得意のリミックスです。が、やはり単なるリミックスでおわっていないとこが泣かせる。つまり、「このテイクもあり」ってなかんじでなにしろかっこえ-です。
