イングヴェイ・マルムスティーンの歴代最強ヴォーカリストでマーク・ボールズという人物が結成したバンド。ギターはイングヴェイと双璧を成すといわれたトニー・マカパイン。そして、キーボードが【ARTENSION】のヴィタリ・クープリ。ドラマーがトニー・マカパインと一緒に【PLANET X】というバンドで活躍している若手ナンバーワンと言われているヴァージル・ドナティ。もの凄いメンツで、イングヴェイ風の演奏をくりひろげているスーパーバンドです。これだけのアーティストが揃ってサウンドが悪いわけがない！ネオ・クラシカル、ヘヴィ、疾走感、様式美、この手のサウンドが好きな人にはたまらないと思われます。キーボードとギターの駆け引きはライブのようなスリリングで『クゥ~』ものです。

このソロ2作目こそMark Boals本来の素晴らしさが十分に活かされた名盤です。ジャンルは得意のネオクラシカルで楽曲、歌唱共に非常に素晴らしいです。Yngwieの「Alchemy」に比べると若干、音が安い気もしますが気になるのはホントにそこだけですし、全体を通じて、このジャンルを歌うために生まれてきたような彼の伸びやかなボーカルと独特の声のカッコよさを楽しめます。最後のオペラは彼の尊敬するルチアーノ・パヴァロッティの十八番の曲。この曲の歌唱はさすがにパヴァロッティには及びませんが彼の才能の深さを感じさせてくれます。Mark Boalsを聴くならまずこれ!

イングヴェイと袂を分かち？後に出戻るのだか゛・・・。発表したIGNITIONに続くソロアルバム　彼らのテーマ曲とも言えるオープニング　リング　オブ　ファイアー、ややゆるやかに始まりスピードアップして行くアトランティス、ここまでならネオクラバンドの常套手段だが3曲目のブリンガー　オブ　ペイン(僕はこの曲がお気に入り)は度肝を抜かれる　三連を主体にした新たな新境地を見つけた感じ。心地いいビートの4、激情の声を振り絞る5、それから6、7、8、とタメを作ったのかと思えばこれまたワォと言いたくなるデス　ロオ、また11のバトル　オブ　ザ　タイタンがパワフルにたたみかける。ラストナンバーはプッチーニのトスカからネッスンドルマ。フルオーケストラの演奏が凄まじく壮大だ。だからと言ってマークのテノールがあれ？みたいな事は全くない　むしろオペラ歌手が夢だった？と聞きたくなるくらい上手いし伸びやかで癒しを与えてくれる
