元SPEEDの今井絵理子を中心としたユニットのマキシ。傾向としてはSPEED時代と変わらずダンス・ビートあふれエネルギッシュなのだが、なにやら曲の雰囲気、詞の内容からすると“青春のまぶしき輝き”とでもいうのか、一生懸命と儚さが背中合わせのモノばかり。解散から約半年、もしかしたら大人の色気を出すかと思われたが、結局は今井ならではの“まだまだハジけるぞ!”といったキャラ立ちするものばかりとあいなった。このチョイスが吉と出るか凶と出るかわからないが、現行ファンは納得の至りであろう。 (石塚隆) --- 2000年09月号
