このアルバムはラルク初のリミックスアルバムです。
リミックスを手掛けたのは、メンバーのyukihiroなんだそうです。
ユッキーが作曲する曲はダークな曲が多く、電子音を多用するので
ラルクの中では割と異彩を放つ曲が多いのですが、このアルバムは
まさに、ユッキーワールド全開なアルバムです。
収録曲はアルバム「ark」「ray」に収録されてる曲がメインなので、
割と聴きやすいです。どの曲も原曲の良さを残しつつ、ドープに
仕上がってるので是非リミックスが嫌いな人も聴いて欲しいです。
ただ、敢えて欠点を挙げるとすると、無駄に長い曲が多いです。
インストであり、アルバムの始まりである＃１「Larva」が８分近く
あるのでいきなり疲れてしまいそうになります。
でも、期待を裏切らない作品であることに間違いは無いでしょう。

このアルバムはラルク初の全曲リミックス集です。 そのリミックスは全曲yukihiroが手がけていて、原曲とはまた違う曲の雰囲気が味わえます。 しかも、今までのリミックス曲をまたリミックスしたものと新曲のリミックスなので、すべてが新しいんです。 このアルバムを聴くと、今までとはまた違う、新しいラルクを発見できます。

98~99年に発表されたL'Arc~en~Cielの楽曲のリミックスをメンバーであるドラマーのyukihiroが手掛けた作品集。
原曲の音源をボーカルを残して全て入れ替え、アブストラクト、ダウンテンポ系のプロダクションを施すことで
より静謐で叙情的なサウンドスケープを再現することに成功している。
なかなか水準の高い楽曲群だが、L'Arc~en~Cielのファンの需要に応える作品ではないことを考慮に入れると
おそらく手に取った大半のファンは理解できないであろう。
この作品は寧ろL'Arc~en~Cielのファン以外のリスナーにこそ聴いて欲しい一枚。
また、この作風を気に入ったL'Arc~en~CielのファンにはTRICKYやPORTISHEAD、MASSIVE ATTACKといった
アーチストの作品も聴いてみてほしい。
