３年のインターバルを置いて出たイギリスの万年トリップ集団エレクトリック・ウィザードの３rdフル。前作に比べロック度がグッと上がり、全体的にメリハリの効いたサウンドになっている。が、ヘヴィさは少しも落ちてはおらず、アレンジの妙との相乗効果で大変な事になっている。タイトルのDOPE THRONEはマリファナの玉座という意味らしい。スーパーグレイト＆鬼マスト。
