このCDって輸入版しかないんですねぇ。びっくりしました。
実はこのCD、ハワイのABCストアでジャケットがきれいだったから買ったんですけれど…。
ハワイでドライブしている間、ずっとこのCD聞いていました。
1曲目から２曲目なんか特にのんびり海岸線をドライブしてるって気分になれますよ。

日本に帰ってきてから、リリースされているCD全部手に入れたのですが、Hapaはこれが一番まとまってると思います。これと1枚目のHAPAがあれば、あとはもういいかも。
他もそれなりにいいんですけれど…。

Hawaii好きでなくてもこのCDは買いだと思います。
しつこくないギターと歌が、さらっと流れるように奏でられています。
星５つです！

　何でもそうかも知れませんが、「聞き込む」と良さが分かりますねぇ。このＣＤを手にして、初めて聞いた時は、「イマイチかなぁ」と感じましたが、何回か聞いているうちに、『これもこれで、エエなぁ〜』と実感できました。何が良いかと言えば、先ず【COLLECTION】とあるとおり、ＨＡＰＡのアルパム４枚から曲がピックアップされており、アルバムとしてとても良く纏まっていると思います。ＩＺの声も素敵だけど、ＨＡＰＡのギター・デュオ（ケリィ＆バリー）のハーモーニーとギターも素敵です。ハワイアンと言えば、「ウクレレ」と思いがちですが、「１２弦ギター？」や「バンジョー」などを使っている曲もあり、「チャント」やコーラスにも新鮮さを感じました。どの曲もエエですが、特にお気に入りの曲は、３曲目の【MANOA IN THE RAIN】、７曲目の【THE WAIKIKI BEACHBOY SONG】、８曲目の【KA ULUWEHI O KE KAI】、それと９・１０曲目と...　ん〜全部エエですわぁ！　しかし、現在はこのデュオで活動していないのが少々残念ですね。差詰め、ハワイアンの「Ｓ＆Ｇ」（サイモン＆ガーファンクル）ってトコでしょうか。　お薦めかと存じます。
