サダオさんの曲は、暖かいメロディーだ。
わかりやすく、こころに響く。

テーマは暖かいが、ソロは熱い。やけどしそうだ。

表題曲は、フルートで演奏される。
２曲目のタウンイーストはソプラリーノの壮絶なソロがある。

バックのミュージシャンもすごい。
スティーブガット、デイブグルーシン、ジェフミロノフなど。

このアルバムにはフュージョンのすべてが詰まっている。

「フュージョン」と言葉を聞くと、条件反射で「軽薄」「電子音楽」「機械的」「音色が平板で単調」などと敬遠しているが、『モーニング･アイランド』は別格。
一つ一つの音の背後に、人間らしいあたたかみや豊かさを感じ取って、ホッとする。
洗練されたおしゃれな作品である。
