　「おやつ2」とジャケットに書いてある通り「おやつ」のコンセプトを踏襲し「アコースティック」「シンプル」路線で作られたアルバムです。一番の相違は、（ジャズのスタンダードも4曲入っていますが）琵琶・二胡・三線などを迎えアジア色が非常に強くなっていることでしょう。中でもサロードとタブラを迎えたインド風(2)の曲が絶品！前作に比べ冗長な部分が少なく、個人的にはこちらの方がお勧めですが、アジアの音楽に興味のない人には合わないかも。

1995年発表。

全面的アコースティック・ナンバー。曲目にまず驚くが『こきりこ節』・『モスラの歌』の演奏のかっこよさに二度驚く。こんなかっこいい『こきりこ節』があっていいのだろうか・・・・というほど素晴らしい。そして選曲の素晴らしさとその曲順にまた驚く。『こきりこ節』などをTradとして、Tradとインド音楽とつながった後にちりばめるようにジャズのスタンダード・ナンバーが入っているのだがこれが叉素晴らしい。特に3の『My One And Only Love』などはあのコルトレーンとハートマンの名盤のこの曲が頭の中で別に鳴り出して2つが共鳴してしまった・・・・・感動的である。
超絶技巧とユニークさが同居した超知的な皮肉の効いたアルバム。なーーんてかっこいいこきりこ節!(◎_◎)。渡辺香津美の作品ではずせない1枚である。

これは面白い！
奏者が良ければ、ギターにはここまで汎用性があるのか！
ギターは、元来欧州の民族楽器ですが、現代ではそんな認識はないと思います。
でも、ギターが汎用性のある民族楽器なら、色んな民族音楽の名人達と共演できるのでは？

こんな疑問に対する回答が、このアルバムです。民族楽器の名人に、ジャズの方法論で望む香津美のギターが、素晴らしいのです。お互いの持ち味を最高に生かしながら、新しい融合音楽が出来あがっています。
このＣＤは、ジャズと民族音楽を好む私にとって、「猫にまたたび」といえるアルバムです。

そんな私にとって、一番のお気に入りは、ちょっとスペイン風のイントロから始まる「モスラの歌」・・・騙されたと思って、一度聴いてください。ち曲も、凄くエエよ。
